Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
